Residency at Tokyo International University and Upcoming Exhibitions

Heidi is currently participating in a two month residency and research exchange at Tokyo International University until July 20, 2010. In conjunction with the residency, there will be two exhibitions with Tokyo artist Aoi Okabayashi:

Two words, One sky #2 Objects, July 6 until July 11 Zuishoji Art Projects

A solo exhibition will be presented at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art in Salem, Oregon in April 10 - May 16, 2010. The exhibition will feature new drawn and sculptural porcelain works scaling the walls of the Atrium Gallery. This exhibition coincides with her eleventh year of teaching and creative activity in Oregon. Opening reception Friday, April 9 from 5-8 p.m.

Preuss Grew will present a free public lecture at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art on Tuesday, April 13th at 12:30 p.m.

A second solo exhibition can be seen at the Töpfermuseum in Duingen in Niedersachsen, Germany through May 23, 2010. Entitled “Then and Now,” the exhibition features work from 1998-2008, including many pieces from the International Academy of Ceramics archive in Ceský Krumlov, Czech Republic.
